Hello awesome world changers!

Fathers House is partnering with Touch Africa Now - Uganda and is taking a team to Uganda the second half of April of this year and we wanted to draw your attention to some needs we'd LOVE your help with!

1) CONSTRUCTION - The dream is to finish the construction of the second level of the school in Arua. The cost is $35,000. Would you stand with us in prayer for this project and that we miraculously would raise those funds in a month?

2) WATER FILTERS - We're collecting funds for water filters again this trip! Our target demographics is people with special needs, i.e. people who normally have an extra hard time getting water. Cost is $85/filter and the dream is to have 30 to deliver!! Currently we have 10 donated so far.

3) SOCCER CLEATS - Like previous years, we are collecting soccer cleats. If you have cleats size 8 and up, please bring them by Fathers House any Sunday to drop them off!

4) FEMALE HYGIENE KITS - We are raising funds and sewing reusable pads to give out to girls in the schools we are supporting. Did you know that beginning their period causes many many girls to get behind in education as they simply stay home as they have no way of dealing with it many times? Thus a hygiene kit with pads etc enables them to keep up with education!

PORTLAND OUTREACH THIS SUNDAY!

Join us after second service as we're heading to Portland for our Hot Cocoa outreach!

Sandwich makings at 12:30pm
Leave for Portland at 1:30pm
Arriving back to Longview at 5:15pm

The outreach is open to all ages 15 and over (minors with parental attendance)

Join us on the 28th of this month for our visit to the REAL. LIFE. EXHIBIT.

The REAL. LIFE. Exhibit is a walk-through, multi-sensory exhibit that allows people to experience what REAL. LIFE. is like for children affected by disaster, conflict and poverty.

Visitors describe the experience: “Eye-opening.” “I will never be the same.” “Inspiring.” “I must do something.” “I can make a difference.”

We will be going there AFTER the normal Portland Outreach that week. If you are interested in going, contact [email protected] to secure your spot as we have limited spots!
