Remember that Frenchie bunch we told y’all about? 👀 Well, it’s time to meet them individually—and kicking things off is the baby of the bunch, Jolene! 🩷🐾

Jolene is just 2 years old and 18 lbs, and she is such a sweet little girl. She has a gentle demeanor and gets along great with other dogs. All of these girls were riding loose together in the car without a problem, so we know Jolene is definitely comfortable with her four-legged friends. 💕

Now, does she know how to walk nicely on a leash and have all those basic “house dog” skills down? Absolutely not. 😂 But she’s trying! These things are new to her, and she’ll need someone willing to give her a little patience, guidance, and time to learn.

She’s young, dog friendly, incredibly sweet, and we have a feeling the whole spoiled house dog thing is one lesson she’s going to pick up VERY quickly. 😂🩷

UPDATE ❤️‍🩹

We got some answers on our little girl. She is already spayed, but unfortunately our vet does recommend amputating that bad leg. We need to get her skin cleared up first, so we’re hoping surgery can happen in about two weeks.

And while we’re updating medicals… add Copper to the list. 🥺 Copper is one of our newest Frenchies and her ears are incredibly bad. Our vet has packed them with medication, AND we found out she is heartworm positive. She’ll be hanging out with TSR for a while as we get her healthy.

Our medical crew keeps growing, so if you can help or share, we sure could use our village. ❤️🐾

Come meet the crew, love on some pups & kitties, and maybe meet your newest family member! 🐾❤️

💔 Sometimes you say yes before you know exactly what you’re saying yes to.

A local shelter reached out to us about this little girl (Opal), and of course… we said yes.

We knew there were concerns with her back legs, but once the X-rays were taken, it became clear there may be a lot more going on than we initially knew.

Her right leg cannot fully extend, making it difficult to even position her properly for X-rays. They had to angle her leg just to get a view of the knee, and her kneecap doesn’t appear to be sitting where it should. Some of what we’re seeing could be congenital, but right now there are still more questions than answers.

Tomorrow she sees our vet, and we’ll begin figuring out exactly what she’s dealing with and what we can do to help her. ❤️‍🩹

We don’t know what her treatment will look like yet. We don’t know how big this road may be. But when a shelter reaches out because a little one needs somewhere to go, sometimes you just take the leap and figure out the rest once they’re safe.

That’s where we are now—and we could really use our village behind her. If you’re able to help with her veterinary care or simply share her story, we would be incredibly grateful.
