Preregistration ends at Noon on 7/3/26 and is just $15.00.

Packet pickup and same day registration is from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM in the lobby of the hotel.

The same day entry fee is $25.00.

The Go 4th Mile Run/Walk 2026 is back in Longview, WA, and it is more than just a race. Every step helps support veterans and local youth scholarships.

That means you can celebrate the 4th while making a real difference in your community.

Hosted by the Cowlitz Valley Runners and HEVIN (Helping Every Veteran in Need), this exciting one-mile event is the first road mile race in Southwest Washington and a favorite local tradition.

Congratulations to Elliana "LeeAnn" Higgins for her selection for a CVR scholarship. LeeAnn ran cross country and track and field for R.A. Long High School for four years. She was a four time qualifier for the Washington Division 2A Cross Country Championships and a two time qualifier for the District Championships in track. A versatile athlete, LeeAnn's running events ranged from the 5K in cross country, to sprints and hurdles, the 800-3200 meter races and the 2000 meter steeplechase.

LeeAnn is a class valedictorian with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She has also received various awards and honors for her artwork. LeeAnn will attend George Fox University in the fall where she will study Cinematic Arts.

Congratulations to Audrey Varney from Mark Morris High School for her selection for a CVR scholarship. Audrey ran cross country for four seasons. Her inspirational leadership as team captain contributed significantly to her team's success. She led the Monarchs to league and district titles and to an 8th place finish at the 2025 Washington Division 2A Cross Country Championships.

An outstanding scholar-athlete, Audrey will attend Brigham Young University in the fall where she will study Elementary Education.

Another great moment as a club! Running every Saturday as a group is great! From Toledo to Woodland, to the Mountains and the Coast, We Run Everywhere in SW Washington!
