Courtney Lynn Connelly, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on September 20, 2024, in Tyler, Texas. Born on July 5, 1993, in Longview, Texas, Courtney was known for her vibrant spirit, goofy sense of humor, and a passion for caring for others. She always knew the right things to say to people when they needed it. She loved hard and pure. Her memory will live on in all those whose lives she touched. She worked diligently as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she found satisfaction in providing care and comfort to the elderly, reflecting her innate compassion and sense of duty.
Courtney attended Kilgore High School, where she made lasting friendships and left an impression with her contagious laughter and warm-hearted nature. Her love for life was evident in everything she did, from the way she connected with children to her deep affection for her nieces and nephew. She and her sister Chelsea shared a profound bond, often described as best friends. They’re connected in ways most people wouldn’t understand. Courtney's joy in cooking and her talent for helping others with their makeup and hair showcased her caring personality and creativity. She always lit up the room when she walked in with her mesmerizing smile, sky blue eyes, and beautiful personality.
She is survived by her mother, Angela Bransford of Longview; her father, Bryan Connelly of Clearlake City; her beloved grandparents, Becky "Nana" and Greg "Gpop" Nono of Longview, and Vicki "Nanny" Carter of Clearlake City. Courtney leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, Chelsea and Wyatt Hall of Kilgore; her brother, Adam Wheeler of Arkansas; her cherished nieces and nephew, Natalie Jaramillo, Noah Jaramillo, Harley Hall, and Betty Lynn Hall, all of Kilgore; as well as her uncles, Jay Bransford of Longview, Derek Bransford of Tulsa, OK, and Riley Connelly of Clearlake City. Additionally, she is survived by numerous cousins, including Lexi Bransford, Peyton Bransford, Gage Bransford, and Jamie, Cara, Carter, Presley, and Oakley Hitchcock
Visitation for Courtney will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home, 401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel. Courtney Lynn
Connelly will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
