Another tournament, another opportunity to learn and grow. We had to make adjustments all weekend, and our team responded.

That’s a wrap for the Junior Olympics / Summer Festival Tournament.

Unfortunately, our team came up short in some very close bouts. While the results didn’t go our way, we’re proud of every one of our fighters for stepping into the ring and giving it everything they had.

Big congratulations to Jose Campos on winning gold. from team Retiz, the hard work and tremendous preparation he and his dad put in really showed—well deserved.

Every tournament is a lesson, and every setback is an opportunity to grow. We’ll learn from this experience, get back in the gym, make the necessary adjustments, and come back stronger.

Day 2 Recap 🥊

Another great day for Distinctive Boxing Team! Proud of every one of our fighters for stepping into the ring and giving it their all. Everyone looked sharp today and we’re excited to have our team advancing.

The only tough part of the day was having two of our own teammates face each other. It was an incredibly close fight, and unfortunately one of them had to take the loss. But to us, that’s not really a loss. When two teammates push each other to that level, our whole team wins. Both fighters showed heart, skill, and represented our gym the right way.
Time to rest, recover, and get ready for tomorrow. Let’s keep this momentum going! 👊🔥

A great start for Distinctive Boxing Team!

We finished Day 1 with three big wins, and we’re excited to have our boxers advancing to tomorrow’s rounds.

The toughest part of the tournament is that two of our own teammates have to face each other tomorrow. That’s always a tough draw because we truly believe both of them had what it takes to make a deep run in the bracket. Unfortunately, that’s how the brackets worked out. No matter the outcome, we’re proud of both of them—they earned their spot and represented our team well today.

Eli picked up another great win and is moving on! 💪

Ricardo came up short today, but every setback is a lesson. We’ll get back to the gym, get back to work, and come back stronger. Back to the lab. 👊

Tomorrow, Roman Castillo begin their Junior Olympics journey. He didn’t compete today, but he’s ready to step into the ring, and we’re excited to watch him perform.
