Loved this bridge to and from the ceremony space 🤍 seeing these two walk down separately to say I do and then cross it together as husband and wife was so sweet!

What a way to kick off November in a place that feels like a second home celebrating Ben and Hannah 🤗

Heading into the last two months of the year has me reflecting a lot and just feeling thankful and excited for what’s to come.

This month I’ll be hanging with lots of my couples and if all goes to plan moving! More on that very soon that I can’t wait to share 😊

What’s something you’re excited for this month?

Just taking a moment for the details today 🤤 Here’s what you should include in your detail photos —

Save this post for later for your details!

P.S. this is a list of the most common items to include and some ideas you may not think about. You can add to this list with all of your unique details!

☖ invitation suite
☖ rings
☖ cologne and perfume
☖ vow books
☖ good luck items (something borrowed, something blue, something old, six pence)
☖ shoes
☖ watches
☖ sentimental pieces (letters from family to you, letters to your spouse, special gifts)

For less stress prepping your details, ask your photographer if they bring a styling box for the details, ask your florist to set aside a few sprigs from your arrangements, and have all your details in a box the morning of so you don’t have to hunt down any items!

3 TIPS FOR YOUR GETTING READY SPACE —

1. Designate a clean space for photos — when you’re getting ready with your wedding party, hairstylist, and makeup artist things tend to get a little messy and cramped. That’s why I always recommend designating a clean space. If you have the option to have a separate room for this that’s great, but even if you’re in one room I recommend keeping a section of the room as a blank space for those shots of you getting ready.

2. Let some light in — while you’re picking that designated clean space consider the lighting as the top priority. Most getting ready spaces have the ability to let some natural light in through windows. This is definitely something to look for when booking your venue.

3. Take a moment to yourself — Plan a little extra time to get some solo shots of you in this space after you’re finished getting ready. These portraits make some of the best memories, and I love the emotion that comes through. It also gives you a minute to take it all in before the schedule continues. You will love to look back at these quiet moments before you said I do.
