Cold weather tip time! ❄️⚡️
Before you call Merilla Electric for a “my breaker keeps tripping” service call…
check these two BIG winter mistakes:
🔥 Mistake #1:
Space heater plugged into a power strip + blankets piled around it.
(That’s a no from Merilla.)
⚡ Mistake #2:
Running two heaters on the same circuit.
Your breaker is not that strong, friend.
Stay warm, stay safe, stay Merilla’d.
We’ll always come help — but we love saving y’all time and money. 😉

A LOT of people and some realtors think because the house is new it is perfect!
That is not always the case.
There are builders who hire third party inspectors to do phase inspections for them and those guys generally build a good house and pay attention to details.
There are other builders that say that they have inspections performed throughout the process.
This is true but they are most of the time a city compliance/permit inspection (which a lot of municipalities are way behind on current code).
Or the bank sends an inspector out for draws on the property.
Bank draws are just the inspector making sure that materials are on site and the work the builder is asking money for is complete. These inspections are not for safety or quality on most cases. They are for making sure the bank and customer are not getting messed around by the contractor.
If we can help you out on a new construction purchase we would love to!
We also offer phase inspection for the start of the build
1.) before the foundation is poured
2.) Before the house is insulated.
3.) Final inspection (full home inspection)
Give us a call if you have any questions!
