🐔🍂 The Chickens Are Molting! 🍂🐔

You may start noticing fewer eggs at the farm stand, and there’s a perfectly natural reason for it! ❤️

Our chickens are entering their natural molting cycle. During this time, they shed old feathers and grow new ones. Making those new feathers takes a lot of energy, so their bodies naturally slow down—or sometimes temporarily stop—egg production.

🥚 That means eggs will be slowing down for a little while.

Molting is a completely normal and healthy part of a chicken’s yearly cycle. Once they finish their molt and their bodies settle back into their normal routine, egg production should begin to pick back up.

Thank you for understanding and supporting our little flock! 🐔🌻🥚

Fresh eggs may be a little harder to come by for a bit, but we’ll keep stocking them whenever we have them! ❤️
