June is National Safety Month, a time to come together and emphasize the importance of safety in the workplace and the environments we serve. At Pacific Northern Environmental, our commitment to safety begins and ends with our employees’ dedication to protecting one another, our customers, and the communities we work in through training, education, and site-specific preparation. Throughout the month, we will be highlighting important safety topics including advancing a culture of safety, roadway safety, holistic worker health, and preventing slips, trips, and falls. Safety is not just a priority at PNE—it is part of the foundation of everything we do.

Yesterday’s tragedy at Nippon has left a deep impact on our entire community, and our hearts are with every employee, family member, friend, and first responders affected by this devastating event. Words cannot fully capture the sorrow and weight that so many throughout Longview and the surrounding communities are feeling right now. In moments like these, we are reminded how important it is to come together, support one another, and stand beside those who are hurting. We continue to keep all those impacted in our thoughts and are grateful for the strength, compassion, and unity this community continues to show during such a difficult time. Longview is a strong community, and we will continue to stand together.

Another edition of Work with a View takes us to Gilbert, Arizona, where the PNE Construction team successfully completed a major Costco fuel expansion with the precision, coordination, and field expertise required to deliver high-performance petroleum infrastructure. From a full repipe down to the tank top to expanding fueling capacity with additional dispensers, the team executed every phase with efficiency and brought the project across the finish line ahead of schedule. Another successful Costco project is officially open. Our PNE Construction team recently completed work on the latest Costco fueling station expansion in Katy, TX, which included a new fuel kiosk and the installation of eight new dispensers, doubling the fueling positions at the site. Projects like these take coordination, precision, and a strong team from start to finish, and this was another great example of our crews delivering quality work in the petroleum construction industry.
