I had the pleasure of recording at Mystery Train StudioSeventeen Excuses place) a little while back and just found the mental capacity to actually upload the two songs we did.

The first song is called The Other Side and it is about my anxiety around death and the world ending. More specifically, I grew up on a street that had 4 kids in my age group and half of them have passed away over the years and that has really hung with me. Since writing the song, I have had additional friends pass away and I have found that it makes me sad but is also somehow soothing.

The second song is about getting married to my very best friend in the entire world and our wonderful/crazy wedding day. The morning we were getting married, Kelli got kidney stones and we spent half of the day in the ER. My wife is so incredible that she took some medicine, powered through, and we tied the knot.
