Today is a great reminder that the little things we do can make a big difference for the places we call home.

As many of you know, my oldest is studying Environmental, Soil & Water Science in college, so this day hits a little closer to home for our family. Watching her learn about protecting our natural resources has given me an even greater appreciation for the land, water, and communities that make East Texas such a special place to live.
Whether it's planting a tree, conserving water, recycling, or simply enjoying the outdoors, every effort matters.
