Today is the First Day of Early Voting for the District 3 City Council Race in Longview. Candidates Marlena Cooper and Bryan Smith. Voting locations are Longview City Hall and Broughton Recreation Center.

Today is primary Day in Texas. The Democrats have many great candidates on the ballot. There is at least one Democrat in every Statehouse race across the State. Local county-level races are also on the ballot. Do your research and vote to make sure the candidate you believe can win in November is our nominee. Vote for the candidate you feel worked hardest to earn your vote. This election cycle is the most important in the history of our Democratic Republic. Whether you live in a population center or the smallest rural community, every vote counts, so GET OUT AND VOTE!!!
