Game on, Hughes Springs 🏓
Hayes Engineering is proud to have provided the design and planning for new pickleball courts at the City of Hughes Springs’ local park—made possible through Texas Parks & Wildlife funding.
The project includes new pickleball courts, a new parking lot, and sidewalks, creating a welcoming recreational space for residents of all ages.
Excited to see this park enhancement come to life and support active, connected communities across East Texas.

Snow on the ground is a good reminder of why solid infrastructure matters ❄️
When a big freeze hits, roads, drainage systems, and water infrastructure are put to the test. Behind the scenes, thoughtful planning and smart engineering help keep communities moving, protect critical utilities, and reduce disruptions when conditions turn extreme.
At Hayes Engineering, we’re proud to work alongside cities and communities to design and plan infrastructure that’s built for real-world conditions—heat, heavy rain, and yes, freezing temperatures. Because being prepared today helps keep things running smoothly tomorrow.

Paving is officially underway 🚧
This $9.6 million City of Longview infrastructure project is transforming a rural, two-lane asphalt roadway into a four-lane concrete street, improving safety, capacity, and long-term durability for the community.
The project also includes utility relocations and a 10-foot-wide multi-use pathway along the south boundary of the right-of-way, expanding access for pedestrians and cyclists while supporting safer connectivity.
Proud to partner with the City of Longview on projects that build smarter, safer infrastructure for East Texas.

📍Hayes Engineering on the job!
Our team was at the City of Scottsville, conducting smoke testing on the city’s sewer lines.
This crucial process helps identify potential issues by locating leaks in the system to help minimize operational costs and ensure the community’s infrastructure is reliable.
