Started my day with an early, virtual walk through with these lovely people.

When I left, I put my lockbox on the door. Their purchase is complete! Now, I’ll coordinate with my GC and other contractors to get their new house fixed up before they move to Longmont from the east coast.

We have six weeks to get it sparkling. So excitedted for them! 😁

A little hospitality goes a long way. I always put seating at the front door of my listings so buyers can safely and easily take off their shoes.

It can be as simple as moving a dining chair to the entryway, but it makes a world of difference for accessibility. It instantly signals that everyone is welcome here. ❤️

My own family has a big move coming up, and our daughter's enthusiastic pursuit of wildlife is already a concern for some new neighbors. The other side of the postcard explains the delight my autistic child has for the natural world, and how to reach us parents if she's in someone's shrubs. Hopefully it will set the stage for connection and understanding...and if we're lucky: shared delight.

It's possible for families like ours to move successfully, we just have to put more thought into what a safe transition will look like.

Congratulations to these wonderful folks! It's rare that buyers and sellers meet in person when closing a sale, but this was the perfect ending for this group.
