Reading is Magic is a fun, energetic, 45 minute family program that uses many volunteers and encourages reading. Ed the Wizard's Magic Show demonstrates how inspiration may be found in a book; how a story may change the course of one’s life. Ed began to teach himself the art of prestidigitation with his own childhood collection of magic books and visiting his local library. With fireworks displays there is noise and the smoke can linger. The new bestsellers this week include "The Land and Its People: Essays," "The Divorce," and "The Final Target."

The Library is closed Friday, June 19th for Juneteenth.

This year's Summer Reading Donation Drive will be for the Zoo at Forest Park! We will collect new animal care and office supplies.

Donations will be collected in the front lobby of Storrs Library.
