Car-Lite Long Beach invites you to join the 2026 Ride of Silence, a memorial event occurring all over the world every year.

2025 had 56 deaths in Long Beach due to traffic violence. The most in over 30 years.

2026 has had 22 deaths since January 1. Right now, we're on track to exceed last year's death toll.

The violence is systemic, the culture is apathetic, and our environment is deadly. We need this to change.

Join us as we fight for visibility, respect, and our right to exist by walking and riding with us on May 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

We will meet at Trolley Park (2nd and Redondo, near the site where Lori Ann Carreon was killed) and gather to remember our lost loved ones. Then we will walk/roll westbound on 2nd St until reaching Bixby Park at Junipero. From there, we will head south to Bluff Park overlooking the ocean.

Say hello to our newest (and tiniest) Ridgewood Triangle residents! These mourning dove babies are almost a week old and already stealing hearts. They’ve mastered the art of snuggling, snoozing, and looking adorable on our porch.
