Lola, thank you for helping to raise me up in the Lord. The way you embodied the boldness, joy, humor, sacrificial love, strength and love of God will live on in all of us. Just like you taught us, our eyes may be crying but joy remains in our smiles and in our hearts because you are Home, and are no longer in pain. See ya again one day! Ya lyublyu tebya, Lola Hennie! 🤍

My heart is grateful for everyone who came to share in the celebration of Lola Hennie’s life. Thank you for loving our grandma so well while she was here. Grateful to have gotten to be with family, visit the home I grew up in, and be surrounded by the JOY that Lola left as her legacy.

This came from a limbo season. Praying it leads you to Jesus today:

I get asked all the time, "so what are you up to now", or "what's next for you?"

It's easy to connect value to attribution because we know and are adamantly against laziness and its effects.

But understanding that victory doesn’t hinge on our heroism or initiative... rather it's on the shoulders of the One who already set redemption into motion by shedding His own blood...Jesus calls us to a new vantage point that clarifies the boundary line between leaning on the expectation of others (or even self), and a more fulfilling posture - leaning on Jesus and running after Him ONLY.

Your next will always try to compete with God's place in your heart/mind.

Been sitting at this caption trying to correctly convey this past weekend. There is a fire and a gentle stream dually present in ’s new worship record that I believe is so timely for the world (and timely for me). Singing with the most incredibly talented and humble people this weekend (as mind blowing as it was) was only the surface of what God was doing at the ruins of .

be free in the process knowing God doesn’t look at the outward appearance, he looks right at your heart 🤍

He’s glorified when we pour our hearts out to Him no matter what it looks like.

A good father is so proud of his kid’s stick figure drawing of him and displays it on the fridge for everyone to see. How much more to our Heavenly Father is our worship !

don’t get me wrong, God delights in excellence. But what a relief to be imperfect and still fully loved.
