Today was my 6 months gastric bypass surgiversary!! (I can’t believe it!)
This beautiful soul standing next to me is my truly amazing bariatric surgeon, who is truly one of the greatest people I have ever met. Ever! She helps me with everything (even homework questions)! She has helped me deal with so much over the past 6 months and I can’t help but feel blessed to have crossed paths with her. Thank you for being such a caring doctor (hard to find) and inspiring me to become a better version of myself. You are amazing! Everything happens for a reason ❤️

On Wednesdays we wear PINK!
I mean, when the office offers to buy, can you really say “no”? Don’t worry I only ate about 3 bite of chili because that’s all I could really eat and hold down.. I’ve turned into a chili girl since surgery ❤️

Happy .. a little different today and a rollover from our Memorial Day adventure, but I have to bring it up because if any of you know me at all, you know that all branches of the service hold a special place in my heart. ♥️ I won’t add much more but this year has been such a change for me that this year’s Memorial Day really hit home about reasons I did what I did. The future has no limits. ❤️

Happy 4 month RYGB surgiversary to me! One of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. So many good things have come from this event in my life that despite the struggles, I will always say this is a day that truly changed my life forever. ❤️

And yes, I totally wore my costume to the consultation and have wonderful memories because of it…
