🐱🐱🐱Pepper and his sibs Peanut and Pebbles are 3 new TippedEars sibs that joined us on Tuesday. They are getting settled in and are a ton of fun. Visitors, please note: you may hear some loud demonic growling. Don’t panic. They’re just a very expressive and rowdy little bunch. 😅🤣

Trivia for Lebanon this Saturday! Hosted by local Lebanese Long Beach resident Sarah Salamé, sign up for an evening of trivia, cats, and fundraising to support Lebanon’s people and animals. 🐱🧡

All are welcome! You do not need to know anything about Lebanon to participate. If you hate war and the impact it has on innocent people and animals, this event is for you!

All proceeds from trivia night will be donated to support the and . This event has limited capacity and will feature over 60 trivia questions about Lebanon, cats and pop culture with fun prizes and more!

🎟️ Tickets $15/person - 100% donated to Animals Lebanon & Red Cross Lebanon. Play trivia as a team or solo.

It’s with great sadness that we share the passing of one of the gentlest and sweetest cats we’ve ever met: Oscar. 🧡

We want to take a moment to celebrate this special guy with some of our favorite photos and videos of him. Oscar spent three weeks at Cool Cat Collective where he cozied up to every person and cat that he met. One of our favorite Oscar moments was while two new cats (Fennel and Radish) were acclimating to the shop, Oscar, upon seeing a potential cozy new spot, decided to join the cuddle pile: three grown cats sharing one little bed. 

We also want to thank TippedEars and his foster Jen for going so incredibly above and beyond with his care. Over the past two months TippedEars has paid for over a dozen medical visits including several overnight hospitalizations totaling thousands of dollars. And in order to give him the best shot at recovering from kidney failure, Jen took Oscar home, where she syringe fed him and gave subcutaneous fluids and multiple medications every single day. He befriended her cat (of course) & slept in a big bed every night. He got the chance to feel the comforts of a home and a family, and for that we are so incredibly grateful. 

Despite everyone’s best efforts, Oscar continued to lose weight and his quality of life deteriorated past the point of treatment. While we all hoped for a different outcome, Oscar spent his last months indoors, comfortable, and so very loved. Rest easy, sweet boy. Love you forever.

Much too much going on right now to do a full post: late night cat rescue, medical emergencies, reviewing & responding to 255 incredible zine submissions by the end of day. 🙀 So in the meantime, here is major cutie and cuddlebug Rooney making herself at home on top of piles of cat bumper stickers and magnets.

Rooney and her brother Murphy are available to adopt as a bonded pair via . They’re basically twins and are incredibly playful, get into hilarious wrestling matches with each other and will work hard for all of the attention and snacks you can provide. (Though be careful with the treats! Rooney has a sensitive tummy!! I learned this the hard way. 😅💩).

You can tickets for all of these events on our website now, we recommend doing so earlier than later because they will sell out. We’ve only got a few spots left for our silent reading party this Thursday! 📚🐈‍⬛
