It was with a heavy heart we announced a few weeks ago about the cancelation of our Aries Awakening Event that was scheduled for March 21.

While it was dissapointing that had to happen it was in the best interests of the crew and our ability to deliver events in the future.

Excited to support the scene with the parties coming up this year.

Artist Spotlight: Insane Creatures/Tyndra - Catar Records

Angela Flo Llinas a.k.a Gelika/ Insane Creatures/Tyndra) born in Barcelona in 1987, had her first connection with music through the violin when she was 10 years old, later on at the age of 12 she started listening to electronic music and after a few years she came across Psychedelic Trance music and straight away loved the sound of it. In 2005 she started djing Psytrance and then she moved to the United Kingdom (London) and started to play in the London Psytrance scene.In 2008 she decided to go deeper and started to study Music production at the
London School of Sound and a Music Technology Specialist BA (Hons) in the University of West London.

Angela now has a number of releases in different labels around the globe since 2009. Her first EP ‘’Fractal Dreams’’ was in 2011 at Green Wizard Records, her second EP “Complex Behaviour” in 2014 at Purple Hexagon Records; were she also compiled the V.A.'s Quantum Animism 1.0 and 2.0 under the name of Gelika, and she released her first full album ‘’Underwater Mysteries” in 2017 with her Insane
Creatures project and now her last EP “Wired Patterns” released on 2020 at Catar Records. Angela also has a faster side project under the name of "Tyndra" and another two Psychedelic Trance projects “Moirae Somnus” with Daniel Grassman
(Isometric) & "Terpsicore" with Savina Scattaglia (Yara), along with her mastering and recording skills (Gelika Mastering Studios). In 2016 she opened her own record label ‘’Catar Records” were she compiled the V.A.“Epiphysis Cerebri”, V.A.“Nepeta Cataria”, V.A."Novem Vitas" & a TYNDRA EP. Now she is working on the second Insane Creatures album, Moirae Somnus Ep, Terpsicore EP & different compilations for Catar Records (Catars/DJ Gelika) and on a number of extra single releases around the globe.

Artist Spotlight: the Dog of Tears - Xexify Records

the Dog of Tears is David Chaim Cohen, also known as A.C. Lyon, D.C. Offset, and President of Xexify.

tDoT was born in 2004, though DCC has been making electronic music since 1998 when he first procured a 4-track cassette recorder and a Sequential Circuits Pro One synthesizer.  Around the time the tDoT project was formed, DCC also started developing a deep interest in psychedelic trance.  He did not want to be confined to the creative boundaries inherent in any dance-music idiom, so he invented Rusted Trance.  Rusted Trance is an experimental sub-genre of trance punctuated with variated, IDM like rhythms and mid-range harmonotastic clouds of timbral emulsification, not to mention the growling bass vowelizations of an ancient and forgotten alien race that formed the primordial ooze for baboon-kind.

tDoT is part of Xexify, which is really just an evil umbrella corporation responsible for the economic decay of the Loyal Order of Sea Lions.  Xexify has been involved in many temporary autonomous memories, namely every California Goa Gil party since 2008.  tDoT and A.C. Lyon were featured on Goa Gil’s Divine Dozen lists for 1.5 decades.

Artist Spotlight: Paula - Catar Records/Grimm Records/Katayy Records

Paula was one of the precursors of the dark psychedelic movement in Brazil, in the early 2000s.

Completing 20 years as a DJ in 2024, she has always been active in strengthening the trance scene, whether participating in parties that planted the seed of the psychedelic essence, as well as organizing tours with unusual artists who had never come to the country.

Her passion is to deeply research different, introspective and at the same time danceable sounds, which cannot be placed within labels and works on any type of dancefloor.

Has already released a compilation called “The Wicked Witch” on Grimm Records and “Pattern Breaker”, on Catar Records.

In addition to parties and festivals spread literally throughout Brazil, she has performed several times in many countries around the world, such as England, Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Greece, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Peru, Rapa Nui (Chile), India and Hungary, at the Ozora Festival.

Her next international tour takes place in Europe in the summer of 2024 - she is confirmed at some of the most important dark psychedelic festivals of the world: Master of Puppets, Momento Demento e Drops Festival.

Artist Spotlight: Yoshua E.M - Blooming Minds Records

Yoshua E.m was born from one of the minds behind the project called Black Dreamz. The Mexican artist of Darkpsy, Experimental and some Drum and Bass began to produce music playing with different sounds and environments to find the psychedelic sound. His first release came out in 2008 with and from that moment he decided not to stop, he began producing under the name of Yoshua E.m His recent projects are 7 Lunas (Ambient, Downtempo), Mexican Armada (with kek heh), Underworld Architects (With CincerVomit) and Double wobble (with Xikwri Neyrra). His development has been constant without losing roots, he experimented with different things and interests over time, which has given him a very personal sound, the learning has marked his music a lot. He believes that his change has been very significant both in the musical and personal fields, different experiences and experiences were forging his way of seeing the world and expressing himself.
