It's Game Time and You're on the Team!

Goals For Life has a record of 36 years of success, impacting the lives of over 100,000 young people who needed us. We truly could not have done it without your support and generosity; it takes teamwork to win! Now we are taking our annual fundraiser online. We invite our community to rally together in a new way to fuel programs that mentor and inspire local students.

A great benefit of the longevity of the Goals for Life program is we often get to see how our students have benefitted from the program. An amazing example is Bobby Jones, who was a Goals For Life student in middle school. Bobby went on to earn his university degree, was the 37th pick in the NBA Draft, played pro basketball, and became a certified yoga instructor. Things came full circle, as Bobby is now on the Goals For Life team. He has been a GFL mentor for four years, teaching success principles and yoga to our students!

We’re proud to share that longtime Board Member Steve Murrow recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to two outstanding students at John Glenn High School in the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District. That’s $2,000 in support of their educational journey!

A huge thank you to Steve for all that he does to uplift and support our students and community. His generosity is a reminder of the life-changing impact one person can have.

Goals For Life directors and board members turn out to support Raja Marhaba and The Jonathan Foundation For Children With Learning Disabilities, Inc. TJF assists children with learning disabilities by providing scholarships for special assessments and advocating for the children at their schools.
