Tonights the night

Im all kinds of stoked, and all kinds of nervous, I guess thats what happens when something means a lot to you. I put a lot of pressure on myself to do this night justice, even thoe i didnt know id be doing it again this year, although as time goes on, i realize im nothing but proud to help host a night honoring him, to wave the flag, is something im happy to do...so tonight I let go of that pressure ive been putting on and simply repay my gratitude for all his art, music and words has done for me over the years, as we celebrate a one and only.

Continued tour recap, some photos from our show

Always so much fun jamming that spot, great sound and great people, the rain turned a lot of folks away, but in the end we all were moshing and having a great time staying out of the cold together.

It was after this show that we B-lined it straight home, after learning our Hemet show was canceled, we went back to San Pedro to settle in and prepare for the homecoming that coming sunday.

Some shotz from our show at in Cottonwood, AZ

After the 8 hours from Reno, we landed and grabbed a cheap hotel room, where we chilled for a couple mins before heading to the venue, when we were checking in the front desk woman said "oh! Queen B! Maynards place right?" I was confused we all were oblivious and inquired she replied "hes in a cool rock band, i think theyre "the tools"?" My eyebrows raised and I just loudy went "OH, TOOL?"

When getting there for sound check it was obvious immediately, the decoration styling, the posters all over from tool and sesanta shows, references everywhere...yep this was his place. The stage and backstage amenities were great and only echoed the idea that whoever runs this place, knows what its like.

We played a great show, although elevation had one of my ears out of commission and we packed up to head back to the hotel for some pizza, finally a little chill time before heading next to Bakersfield our last out of town stop. More on that later.

Already home, but thought id catch up with tour post.

After the show in Ellensburg, we head back to Portland to hang with our friends Tim & Patty for our day off, after which we made the long grueling drive 12 hours from Portland the Reno, NV.

To be honest the drive felt like childs play, our incredible gets credit for the majority of it, after which we had another stay at Circus Circus, no partying this time, no time, no money and to be perfectly honest this time i didnt have the heart for it either, just walked myself down to the bar on the casino floor for a late night beer, a shot and a cigarette, then the slow walk and smoke back to my room to call it a night.

The next day we got to shred
With some epic bands, I was slow going but after a little bit I found my groove and the resulting show was pretty bad ass.

After a couple drinks and a couple handshakes/hugs we gathered our things and started the 8 hour drive to cottonwood, AZ. More on that tomorrow as I continue sharing tour stories.

Thanks a bunch Ellensburg, it was fun to jam at .skools again

Watching everyone at the open mic was inspiring and really cool, then to open it up ans blast the roof off was super awesome.

We crashed in Ellensburg that night then took off towards Portland for 2 days off before making the long trek to Reno for our next show, more on that later.

Thanks a bunch for the support on this tour, I ended up getting sick so im hanging in there, one night at a time.

Thanks Olympia! We played .voyeur.olympia in 2018, and it was awesome to return in such a chaotic, loud display of rock and you guys really made it wild.

was stupidly fun, and getting to jam with friends again for the second time this tour was rad, cant wait to see them again down the road 🤘❤️ all in all it was night of remembrance and a night of love the display of which was incredible.

Also finally got to catch up with fellow music nerd a long while in the making and got to ingest delicious amber fluids with him, was a cool way to spend a post show hang.

Next show is tonight in Ellensburg at .skools after the local open mic, you can catch us raising hell for about an hour. Should be rad, I hoping our noise isn't too much 😬

Seattle you beautiful fu***rs, im currently drunk in the van headed back to HQ to rest but what a crazy fun show.

Freakout is so spread out, sometimes I wonder if people can find us, but find us you did and what an amazing show that resulted, bodies from stage edge to back wall, packed. Cheering and shouting, giving our energy right back to us. My heart...is fu***ng full ❤️

Big thanks to .band and the other bands we jammed with, it was an epic time. Also big shout out to our friend that we bumped into, fu***ng beautiful reunion of souls.

We incorporated the drum solo back into the set in Seattle and I couldnt wait to rip it tonight in Olympia for everyone, what a great fu***ng time, but more on that later.

Ill talk about and review tonight's show at .voyeur.olympia in my post in the AM jamming with and more tonight was beautiful.

Thanks a bunch San Fransico, what an incredibly fun show last night, we have a couple of days off on the road, so we're hanging out in SF and Oakland, spending time with the family.

Jamming out loud and proud, sharing the stage with and ._band was nothing short of a great time.

The crew at made us feel at home and the result was a sweaty, powerful stage show that was a joy to be a part of. Im beyond proud of noise made last night. Makes the heart feel good.

In the meantime much love and affection out to my brother in noise for giving us a couch to rest out spirits on, and thanks to for working his ass off for all things and otherwise, he is an angel to hardworking musicians of all sorts.

Next gig we're coming back to in Eugene to rock out with and .transplant

Gonna be nice to reunite with our Portland family and be amongst the trees again, as i write this im sitting in the Psyched! Records HQ just chillin in the vibes with some tequila. Ain't it the life?
