It's crazy to look back, but when we got started, one of the first places we played at was a place called Public Storage, which later was renamed to Chain Reaction. Over time, we saw many venues come and go, but it seemed like one of the venues that would stick around was Chain Reaction.. but much like all things in life, nothing lasts forever. Sadly, Chain Reaction, a venue that welcomed us many times, and a venue that all of our band members have had numerous memories seeing other bands, is now closing it's doors. We are saddened by it's closure, and also saddened that the current generation of young musicians have so many less venues to play their music live.. sure, social media is a great way for musicians to connect to an audience, but that connection pales in comparison to going to a live performance. Those who are under the legal drinking age deserve to have a place to play and see live music. All we can hope for is that there will always be independent all-age venues to give the next generation of bands and fans a chance to connect without the need to interface with a screen or internet connection.
