Addy obtained her B.A. in Music and M.A. in English with a concentration in Digital Literary Studies at California Baptist University. Most recently, she served as the Development Associate at the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation in Burbank. She is excited to engage with alumni and the Long Beach community to support the library at CSULB. Welcome to the team, Addy! ✨

Congratulations to the Genre Editorial Collective for publishing Volume 41: Care! This newest volume is the first at The Beach to be published on Open Journal Systems (OJS), an open-access platform that provides infrastructure to allow this student-led journal to publish digital editions. Special Collections & University Archives is grateful to Genre and the CSU Chancellor’s Office for collaborating with us on this pilot project! Check it out at https://journals.calstate.edu/genre/.
