It’s that time again…time to renew my commission. Four years sure went by fast. Although I’ve taken the test numerous times I still prepare like it’s my first time.

Fitting that I would be at FedEx meeting clients on national notary day. It fell on a Sunday but nevertheless people need notarizations every day of the week.

Up with the birds this morning at a 6AM signing. We were supposed to sign on the rooftop solarium but the lights weren’t on. Bummer, but we got it done!

LaShawn and I met about 4+ years ago at a Wells Fargo appointment where — believe it or not — the signing service accidentally sent three notaries for one signing 😅. We instantly clicked and have been friends ever since.

Today, she served as a witness for one of my estate planning appointments — just one of many times she’s been there for me in a pinch. From last-minute referrals to notary advice to her constant encouragement, LaShawn always shows up with a smile. So grateful for this sisterhood built through business 💛📋✍🏽

Today’s notary appointment turned apostille. My client calls me, “The one who can get it done.” Saved him a trip to the Secretary of State office in Downtown LA. I coordinated with a fellow notary who was going there today and his paperwork is now in route. Just out here taking care of business! 🌟

Yesterday’s seller signing was definitely giving summer vibes. We signed outside and sipped sparkling water. Good times with really good people. Found our daughter’s went to school together—small world!

We don’t always get to do what we love but we can find ways love what we do.

Luckily for me, I know of an open location in Long Beach. Sundays can be busy for mobile notaries as banks, UPS stores, and other businesses that offer notarization services are closed.

It starts right here…the beginning of so many friendships and business relationships, laughs, tears, and sometimes even a lot of awkwardness. Notary’s get to be a part of so many life changing experiences in the lives of people. Everyday brings new moments and experiences. This I truly treasure! 💎💎💎

Holiday Weekend Signing!

Today I had the pleasure of notarizing documents for four siblings—all coming together from Long Beach, Moreno Valley, Fresno, and even Virginia!

I received the call this AM asking if I can accommodate the signing and after a few appointment time changes we made it happen. I get it—sometimes it’s hard when everyone has such busy schedules.
