The Hidden Dangers of Xylitol
Since xylitol is popping up in so many different products, you need to check the ingredient list for anything your dog might get into.
Keep in mind that manufacturers might use other names for xylitol on the label. Be on the lookout for these aliases:
✔️ Birch sugar
✔️ Birch bark extract
✔️ Birch sap
✔️ Sugar alcohol (Xylitol is one type of sugar alcohol)
If you see any of these terms, keep that product well out of paw's reach
