Thank you to Rockingham County High Sheriff Chuck Massahos, who talked about his re-election efforts, his substantial accomplishments, and his goals for the future. Sheriff Massahos represents a no-nonsense, accomplish-what-you-promise, and always be vigilant of taxpayers’ hard-earned money elected official.

Recently on Facebook, Maria Barud posted: “June 1, 2026 marks 8 wonderful years since I became a proud United States citizen. What an incredible journey it has been — from the moment I first set foot on American soil to standing in that courtroom, raising my right hand and taking the Oath of Allegiance.
I couldn’t be happier to call this great nation my home. The opportunities, the freedoms, and the spirit of this country continue to inspire me every single day. I feel so blessed to be part of it all.
