My current training split has some cardio and mobility work on Tuesdays. I usually add in some decompression/stretching as well. I'm using gravity boots (Teeter) my stall bars ( gmwdfitness ), a neck harness (Vivosleep) and my GHD (Bells of Steel )here. There are ways to do many of the movements with other items. Maybe it's because I'm old, but decompression just feels great 😅🤣
Core challenge. If you have an earthquake bar, great. If you don't, simply band some plates and/or kbs to a bar. Try to keep your shoulders elevated, but that is NOT easy. Regardless of shoulder elevation, go through a leg lift. If that feels OK, add a reverse crunch at the top. If that feels OK, try to kick something about you and control the eccentric.

Little steel mace flow to warm up for my hypertrophy training. Single arm swing into outside mills on each side into a curl. A double curl switches the sides. After this I went into a alternating mill.
The steel mace is a great tool for the summer. It's easy to bring on vacations and takes up very little space. Shoot me a message to discuss!

The Ergathlon (500m row, 500m ski, 1000m bike)... a savage test of anaerobic fitness level and mental fortitude. I run it every 10ish weeks as a benchmark test. I tell people to give it their best effort on that particular day. Over time, the results are incredible. It's not uncommon for someone who been untrained in this fashion to take a large amount of time off between attempts due to the consistent progression I push at Dysfunctional Training. Shout out to the first time finishers this week! Shout out to those who took time off! Shout out to all the finishers!

1. A protein powder. Top quality, complete protein That can be prepared faster than doing a set of squats.
2. Creatine. Powder or gummies. Legion ha both. I personally take Recharge. But, everyone in he gym should be taking 3-5g of creatine. There's also been research showing cognitive benefits as you near 10g per day.
