I have been quiet, but busy and having a blast. Launching my 4th equestrian website yesterday marked ALL the FUN I’ve had with the stable & fields digital storytelling services that I launched at the end of September.
I am beyond excited about the amazing entrepreneurs I have met – and the projects that have come to me: websites, book launches, social media plans & ex*****on. All fantastic, and each one so unique and interesting.
Launching this service as part of my stable & fields business was the best thing I’ve done in a long time – the fit is so RIGHT for my skills and creative juices.
That said, I still LOVE the candle side of stable & fields, and while I am truthfully struggling a bit to balance time between the two – I am confident I will figure it out.
Thanks to those who are following me – over the next few weeks I’ll share more about each of the projects that I have been so fortunate to have.

Current project mood board 🤎
I’m working with another incredible equestrian professional right now, and I love watching her story take shape in color and texture. This one feels grounded, warm, and strong — just like her work.
Building websites for horse-centered businesses has become one of the most rewarding parts of how stable & fields is evolving.
Can't wait to launch!!

My boys ❤️
Happy Valentine's Day!!
Deja vu from 2 years ago when we were preparing to move to New Hampshire to take care of my in-laws. And now we’re here and I feel like so much has changed and nothing has changed in the time that we’ve been here. That’s it a personal level with the family situation, layer onto it the world level and I feel like things are much worse. So today, I am finding peace and beauty in a snowstorm and thinking mother nature for this quiet opportunity.

Wishing you a Christmas filled with simple moments, familiar comforts, and the kind of peace that comes from our time spent at the barn and with our horses.
Merry Christmas.

✨ 12 Days of Candle Styling | Day 8 – Candle Styling 🎄✨
Today’s setup feels like pure Christmas cheer. A classic hunter-green tray (forever an equestrian staple), a charming little Santa checking his list, and a scatter of paper snowflakes set the stage for my Neighs & Sleighs candle in festive red glass.
This scent — holiday berries and warm spices — instantly makes a room feel joyful and a little bit magical. It’s simple, sweet, and exactly the kind of styling I love this time of year… just enough to make your home feel special without overthinking a thing.
Sometimes a candle, a tray, and a touch of Christmas whimsy are all you need. ❤️🎅🏼✨
First snow storm and I am wrapping and shipping gifts and Etsy orders….I miss CA desperately BUT I LOVE being where it snows at Christmas time!!

✨ 12 Days of Candle Styling | Day 4 ✨
There’s something about a vintage snowman that makes me feel like time slows down. The shimmer of old-fashioned glitter, the antique creamy white, and that “Let It Snow” garland remind me of how my Mom used to decorate her mantel at Christmas -- this was actually part of her snowman collection!
This styling pairs my Neighs & Sleighs candle — a fresh winter blend of pine, fir & cardamom with soft whites and earthy plaid label. It’s one of my limited-edition holiday scents.
Perfect for anyone who loves winter’s hush, a cozy barn, and a little touch of plaid Christmas tradition. ❄️🐴

I had high hopes for my first-ever Equine Affaire … and it absolutely did not disappoint!
Now that I live in New Hampshire, getting down to Springfield, MA was totally doable — but to be honest, I probably wouldn’t have gone without the encouragement of Susan of SaddleSeeksHorse (). We’ve been Instagram friends for years, and finally meeting in person? SO. FUN!
Susan is as lovely as I imagined (and yes — taller, too!). She made me laugh so much — and spending time in her booth really shone a light on how special she is, how devoted her readers are, and why the enduring love for the Misty of Chincoteague story is so real.
The vendor hall was outstanding — so many amazing booths. I only scratched the surface. And the workshops? Next year I’m planning to stay several days so I can really soak it all in.
Fun fact: 44 years ago I presented at the Eastern States Exposition (in my 4-H days)… my first time on a “big stage.” I never forgot it. That building felt so much bigger than I remembered — what a full-circle moment.
Until next year — here’s my mini video homage to my first time! 🎥🐴
