London - Laurel Rescue Squad

At approximately 11:35am London-Laurel County 911 Center notified units of a mutual aid request from East Bernstadt Fire & Rescue and Crossroads Fire Department for our air trailer to refill the Fire Department’s breathing apparatus while they were fighting a structure fire on Little Arthur Ridge Road. Also on scene were London City Fire Department and Ambulance Inc. Of Laurel County.

At approximately 7:05pm the London-Laurel County 911 Center advised units of a motor vehicle accident around the 47 mm on I 75 north.

Also on scene were Ambulance Inc. Of Laurel County Laurel County Fire Department and Laurel County Sheriff's Office

At approximately 12:34 am the London-Laurel County 911 Center advised units of a motor vehicle accident near 689 US Highway 25 W.

Also onscene were Ambulance Inc. Of Laurel County Corbin Police Department and Corbin Fire Department .

At approximately 5:40pm London-Laurel County 911 Center notified units of a vehicle collision on I-75 NB around the 51 mile marker. Also on scene were Ambulance Inc. Of Laurel County, Laurel County Fire Department, and Laurel County Sheriff's Office.

At approximately 3:45pm London-Laurel County 911 Center notified units of a vehicle collision on N Laurel Road. Also on scene were Ambulance Inc. Of Laurel County, East Bernstadt Fire & Rescue, and Laurel County Sheriff's Office.

At approximately 4:25pm London-Laurel County 911 Center notified units of a vehicle collision on S Laurel Road. Also on scene were London City Fire Department, Ambulance Inc. Of Laurel County, and London Police Department, KY.

London-Laurel Rescue unit Dakota Kilburn worked hard this weekend at the State Fire School, diving deep into Vehicle Rescue & Winching Operations. This advanced training focuses on everything from auto extrication and heavy vehicle rescue to mastering winching techniques for complex scenarios. It's physically demanding but crucial for ensuring our teams are prepared for any situation. Big thanks to Co-Instructors David Walters and Matt Nelson, and to Robert's Towing for their support!

London-Laurel Rescue units Summer Lively and John Marion spent the weekend training at Kentucky State Fire School, sharpening their skills in urban search and rescue operations. The training covered essential techniques like shoring to stabilize structures and lifting/moving debris safely. Units spent 32 hours training with first responders from across the state!
