This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor all the fallen military personnel who died while serving our country. May we truly be a grateful nation. And may their service and their sacrifice not have been in vain. As we strive to move forward, let us uphold not only their memory, but also the bold ideals that have led brave men and women to serve our republic for 250 years. Today, of all days, let us stand together, not under the banner of party or politics, but under the banner of Americans, humbled and united in giving thanks for their service and their eternal sacrifice. Long may freedom reign. May God bless our troops. And may God bless America.
