Happy Earth Day everyone out there!! Pick up 3 pieces of trash today and try to make it a habit. Also, make a resolution to yourself and the earth to stop using lids, straws, whatever you choose! You don't have to look like my shadow walking on the beach with bags and buckets of trash, but let's be more mindful about your time on this amazing planet!

Lately, without a doubt I find at least one of these coffee on the beach. If I don't find one of these, it's always at least one green Starbucks straw or cup. If my company had items that were notoriously found, I think I would try to do something about it like changing plastic items into biodegradable items.

You know those annoying fat straws from and ? 👎🏼👎🏼😫Well this bracelet is made from one of those! The straw was found on Surf Beach, CA and was cleaned, cut and wrapped with string to resemble a bead that is string along with silver beads to match the black leather! The plastic was cleaned, cut and wrapped with red string to match the string and black beads attached!! All bracelets are adjustable and all proceeds go to beach cleanups!! SEAcycled will be at Local Fest here in Lompoc, CA!! The festival is all Santa Barbara County local artists, bands, food, beer, wine and more! It is Saturday and Sunday and I'll be there in the afternoons (hopefully not too late after work)! Come and check out SEAcycled along with other great vendors and musicians!!

🐟New Item! 🐬 The bottle cap beach bracelet is made from a plastic bottle cap found (way too often) on Surf Beach, CA. The cap was hollowed out and wrapped with Seafoam green string. As always, all SEAcycled item proceeds go directly to ongoing beach cleanups!!♻️

👋🏽 Meet the girl behind SEAcycled! 🙋🏼👋🏽 in case you weren't able to read up on my story in the Santa Barbara News-Press, I'm Jessica! I am the beach cleaner, trash sorter, bracelet maker, social media runner, and etsy shop runner! I am 28, born and raised in Lompoc, CA and a lover of all things ocean and nature! 🐳🐬🐟 I have a B.S. In Oceanography from Humboldt State University (Go Jacks!!) and a beautiful dog and amazing fiancé! I got the idea for SEAcycled while living in Monterey working as an AmeriCorps VISTA, but didn't get serious about it until this year. I knew there was some other way to bring attention to marine debris and how to recycle it better, so Ta da, SEAcycled was born!! Now we live back in Lompoc and I am working as an Enologist for a local winery here, but still trying to keep SEAcycled ALIVE!!
