Japanese knot-bag inspired wine bottle bags! Three are cityscape fabric lined with grey flannel and silver topstitching. Two are pink partyworks with saffron topstitching, and one unique multi-orange with golden topstitching. I love this design. I need to make more!! $30 each.

Red cross-shoulder bag. I love the tone-on-tone button and top-stitching. The plaid interior and pocket add lovely contrast. This is truly a one-of-a kind bag! $85

I need to update my etsy store. I made all these lovely bags last year, but never created listings for them on etsy. There are more. Gonna see if we can take better photos. But first I need to complete end of quarter grading.

I'm at the Yes Store in Santa Barbara this year! The store is at 101 Paseo Nuevo, across from Nordstrom. The booth is ready to go, but will evolve as we figure out a few things. The store is open every day from today (Nov 7) until Christmas Eve (excluding Thanskgiving Day). Tonight is opening party night! I've made raspberry crumble bars to share with guests, customers, and other artists. You should come down!! There will be live music and wine, too.

Keisha's Bobby redesigned my business card for the business. We kept Chris Nguyen's original hand-drawn logo because i love it!! And Bobby found a font that closely resembles Chris's handwriting for the word "makes." Now we just have to wait for the cards and sticker-labels to arrive in the mail (*nervously shaking leg*).
I don't feel bad about being bad at running a business. Capitalism stinks. The kind of person i have to be in order to be successful at business really pretty much disgusts me. My goal is to relish and nourish a craftsartisan life. Not to be a business owner.

I haven't posted in a long while due to moving and finishing up the school year. Today is the first day Arlo and I have made it to the Santa Barbara Beach Show in ages! We are out of practice, but we have one special order to fill and that is inspiring. Hopefully, I'll be able to post pics of my new, sewing space by the end of the week. Woot woot.

It's been awhile since I posted. We made it to the SB Beach Show today, but only for attendance credit. I may stop going to the show since gas prices are through the roof and I'm not making any money. I really love it down here, but my finances are just too tight to afford to go in the hole just for the privilege of dog watching down at the beach in Santa Barbara. I wish I could afford to keep doing this because I know people appreciate learning about what I make. Alas, until people actually start buying, I cannot put in the time to produce more product because I need to work to pay the bills
