Now for some fun, Bonfirebeefcoās one of a kind Greek Style Gyro š„
Ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
1 small onion, grated
3 to 4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
Making the gyro loafā¦
Grate the onion and garlic and squeeze out the extra liquid with a towel.
Mix the onion, garlic, spices, lemon juice, and olive oil into the ground beef until everything is well combined
Press the meat firmly into a loaf pan so it is packed tightly. š
Bake at 350°F until the meat is fully cooked through, about fifty minutes.
Let it cool for a bit, then slice it into thin pieces.
Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the slices briefly so the edges get slightly crispy.
Serve on a warm pita & dip in yogurt sauce
