It’s been one heck of a weird winter.

After a few trips with no fish and a couple whitefish, it finally came together. We picked up a few Brown Trout under an indicator, and just as we went to get a photo of Sebastian’s fish, blue-wing olives started coming off and fish began to rise.

Of course his was the bigger one… and he wanted it documented for the bragging rights, but when fish start looking up, you don’t waste time.

One quick photo with the new measuring tool on @onwaterfish estimated length and weight, ID’d the species, and logged the conditions.

A quick release, rods switched over, and right into rising fish.
