The Veteran Directed Care (VDC) program helps Veterans who meet nursing home-level care to stay in their homes instead.

Throught the VA, the program provides:
-A flexible monthly budget to help you stay at home
-Power to hire your own Caregiver (even family!)
-You direct the schedule and tasks for your caregiver

Who qualifies?
Veterans enrolled in VA Healthcare who need significant help with daily activities like bathing, dressin or meals. No service-connected disability rating is requires.

Are you caring for an aging parent or spouse? Did you know the Aging Medicaid Waiver program can help senior stay in their homes instead of moving to a nursing facility?

This program may cover
-Personal Care (bathing, dressing)

65+ who meet nursing facility level of care and income/assets guidelines for Medicaid

The Emergency Home Repair program uses grant and low-interest loan funds to repair homes in Cache, Box Elder, and Rich Counties. The program focuses on health and safety repairs such as replacing heating systems, k**b and tube mitigation, roofing, hot water heater replacement, sewer/water line and septic clean-out, window replacement, disability adaptation (e.g., ADA equipment), mold abatement, asbestos abatement, and radon abatement. Funds are limited and are approved on a case-by-case basis. Cosmetic repairs, such as landscaping, decorating, and appliances, are not eligible.

Rich County Residents! BRAG is coming to Randolph and Garden City on Wednesday, May 13th! Our Veteran’s Specialist will be available to help veterans apply for benefits!
