USU Ag Tech Club

We had a student this year bring in their 2290 from the farm. Kaysen Johnson did majority of the project on his own in a matter of less than a year. He did a transmission rebuild, upper engine rebuild, remade all the wiring, repainted it, some hydraulic rebuilding and repairs, and a cab rebuild to. It took a long time to rebuild and repair but now it’s running and ready to hit the fields. Congrats Kaysen for all the hard work and we are excited to see it come into the tractor parade this coming fall!

We also have a few more projects that in the shop, we still have the Farmall Super C, Farmall M, and John Deere B. We are looking forward to see how these three projects turn out and can’t wait to see them run again!

We want to shoutout Issac R, Tyler K, Carston S, and Mitch R for getting this W4 running again and ready to be picked up by the owner. They did a good job and sure had a fun time with wiring and cleaning the mice nests out.

Well, it’s finally gone! The Ford 8n left a little bit ago but we figured it needed an appreciation post for it finally leaving after 7 years. We can’t thank those who worked on it enough for finally showing it some love, and getting it to its owner.

Recently, Fullboreclean reached out to us asking if we could sample some products for them. They gave us some free samples of their Ultra Flow hand scrub and Extreme Green hand scrub. Both have worked tremendously well and fight paint and grease like no other cleaning products do! It moistures your skin and smells really good on top of the good cleaning. Our students and staff have loved using the product and we will be definitely getting more when we run out. Thank you Fullboreclean for letting us sample your products!

We were also able to get some fresh oranges from Jireh Packing, and also seen some of the older equipment at the farm show.

We got to tour Maddox Dairy in California as well, and some pictures of equipment as well.

We had the opportunity to go to the World Ag Expo in Tulare California. We were able to learn about different types of equipment and crops, and see how some of the equipment worked. Some club members were also able to network to different companies and could potentially have jobs in the future. We also had a lot of fun and would like to be able to do this again in the future!

End of Fall 2025 semester, here are some of the projects and where they are at. I also included some of the personal projects that are currently in and can’t wait to see what other personal projects come in next semester.
