🚨IMPORTANT UPDATE🚨

Late last fall I surmised that I needed to set myself up with something new to work towards in life. My mental health was very dismal. At the very last minute possible I jumped into the ring for consideration at the School of the Art Institute, and spent the winter and spring applying to 30+ scholarships.

This September I began my BFA with my bills entirely paid off by scholarships and aid. I am not abandoning cake, food will always be my core, but I need the time to focus on expanding. I will be taking limited cake orders with focus on wedding and sculpted cakes. Cookie cakes will come back as time allows. (see www.batty-cakes.com for details!)

Hey there folks!

Happy Pride to ya. Since I'm not able to run fundraising specials this year as normal, (exciting news on why I've reduced cake volume coming up!), Battycakes will be donating $100 to , who provide a myriad of services to the LGBTQ community and even housing for elders.

I compiled a gallery of some of my favorite q***r cakes from over the years and a shortlist of great causes in Chicagoland I have raised funds for in the past you can support today!
