🎓 Investing in Tomorrow's Leaders: Congratulations to Our 2026 Olcott Lions Club Scholarship Recipients! 🦁💙💛

For generations, the Olcott Lions Club has proudly invested in the young people of our community, believing that today's students are tomorrow's leaders. One of our most cherished traditions is awarding two $1,500 scholarships each year to deserving seniors from Newfane High School. These funds come from the incredible efforts each year at the historic Olcott Polar Bear Swim, held the 1st Sunday in March of each year.

Working in partnership with the Newfane Central School District, our scholarship committee looks beyond grades alone. We seek students who demonstrate character, leadership, school involvement, community service, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

We are proud to recognize our 2026 Olcott Lions Scholarship recipients:

🎓 Andrew Watts – A member of the Student Senate and a standout football and lacrosse athlete, Andrew will attend SUNY Brockport this fall to pursue a degree in Psychology.

🎓 Aiden Cronkhite – A dedicated football and lacrosse player, Aiden will also attend SUNY Brockport, where he will major in Business while continuing his football career with the Golden Eagles.

Please join us in congratulating Andrew and Aiden on this well-deserved honor. We also extend our heartfelt best wishes to the entire Newfane High School Class of 2026 as they embark on exciting new academic, professional, and personal journeys.

Every plunge helps create opportunities for local students while funding Lions Club initiatives that serve our local community, as well as worthy causes supported by the WNY Lions.
