Historic ties to Lockport

A peek inside the Col. Ward Pumping Station After years of asking about it, Patrick Hammer finally gets a tour of the historic structure that pumps water to every faucet in the Queen City.

Today, we honor and remember K9 Officer Hulk, who faithfully served our department and community for 12 incredible years.

Through countless calls, long shifts, and dangerous situations, Hulk stood beside fellow officers with unwavering loyalty, courage, and dedication. More than a partner, he was family — a protector, a friend, and a true hero in every sense of the word.

After 12 years of distinguished service, we say goodbye with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for the sacrifices he made and the lives he helped protect along the way.

Thank you, K9 Officer Hulk, for your service, your bravery, and your unconditional loyalty. Your watch may be over, but your legacy will never be forgotten.

A peek inside the old post office in Lockport. This was restored by in 2025 and now has inside of it! The historic tax credit project was led by Preservation Studios.
This adaptive reuse work was submitted for a Preservation Award and was selected as Best Commercial Project in Niagara County! We will be seeing more details of the project and celebrating tomorrow (Thursday!) at the Richardson Hotel / Campus for our annual Preservation Awards. There are some tickets left!
