I had the pleasure to make this beautiful for a friend of mine's birthday a few weekend ago. I am honored that they thought of me for their special day. Vanilla bean sponge with salted caramel Swiss meringue buttercream covered with black buttercream, colored with black cocoa powder (which makes it taste like cookies and cream 😋) and painted with edible gold luster.

Sorry, I know I have been absent for a little while. Here are some of the goodies for some of my regulars though.

A little glimpse of the yummy treats from this past weekends order for the cross country high school's team, of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and homemade marshmallow fondant. I heard they had a fantastic season.

I had the pleasure of making a grandma-to-be cake for a special lady. Round Bottom Bakery would like to congratulate you, you know who you are 😁. I tried a new technique and it turned out fantastic.

I have been baking our bread for about 4-5 months and I wanted to show you the difference between baking bread with all purpose flour and bread flour. AP flour on the left and bread flour on the right. I ran out of bread flour after one loaf. AP will taste just as good, but esthetically I love working with bread flour 😊.
