🏎️💨 Riverside’s Race Cars Are Still On the Move! 💨🏎️

The summer adventures continue as our Riverside staff members keep their race cars rolling through our Full Throttle Bingo challenge! From pool days and beach trips to family vacations, reading adventures, sweet treats, and everything in between, our team has been busy making memories while checking off bingo squares along the way.

One of the best parts has been seeing the creativity behind each race car and the fun places they have traveled. Whether they’re cruising across the state or enjoying a relaxing day close to home, our staff members are proving that they are always Driven with Determination!

We are excited to welcome Melinda Allen to the Riverside family as a member of our Fourth Grade Team! 💚

Melinda brings 18 years of educational experience and a passion for helping students succeed. Throughout her career, she has taught across elementary, middle, and high school levels in general education, support facilitation, and self-contained classroom settings. Her diverse background has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge and a strong commitment to creating inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments where every student can thrive.

Melinda and her family are relocating to North Florida from Central Florida and are excited to begin this new chapter. She is happily married, a proud mother of four amazing children, and a loving “Mimi” to two sweet grandbabies. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and spending time with her loved ones is her greatest joy.

🍉 Theme Thursday was a sweet success today at Riverside! 🍉

To celebrate our summer schedule and those much-appreciated Fridays off, we treated our hardworking summer staff to a refreshing watermelon snack. It was a fun way to enjoy a little summertime fellowship, share some laughs, and show appreciation for the dedication our team continues to give even during the summer months.

We are excited to welcome Sean Oliver to Suwannee Riverside Elementary, where he will be joining our fifth-grade team!

Sean has been teaching for 11 years and has a true passion for science. He loves creating opportunities for students to explore, investigate, and discover the world around them. Teaching is more than a profession for Sean—it is a privilege. He is dedicated to helping shape the lives of young people, inspiring them to believe in themselves and reach their full potential.

Sean is married to his amazing wife, Kalin, and together they have three children: Kynleigh, Jase, and Cohen.

In his free time, Sean enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf, coaching baseball, and spending quality time with his family.

Hello! My name is Kalin Oliver, and this is my third year teaching. I am currently attending Florida State University, where I am pursuing my Master’s and Specialist degrees in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling.

I have a strong passion for both education and mental health, and I love helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Teaching has always been something I truly enjoy, and I strive to create a positive, supportive learning environment for all students.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Sean, and together we have three children: Kynleigh, Jase, and our newest addition, Cohen. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, especially going on walks, fishing, and hunting.

I feel incredibly grateful to work in education and look forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of my students and families.
