It’s officially summer and we love a good summer party… but someone needs to be the lifeguard energy.
Introducing: the Designated Water Watcher™ 💦
(No whistle required. Just attention.)
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends constant, undistracted supervision around water—because accidents don’t send a warning text.
✔️ Rotate every 15–20 minutes
✔️ Stay distraction-free
✔️ Keep eyes ON the water (not your margarita 👀)
It’s the most important role at the party—and it saves lives.

When every second counts, you are the difference.
The Chain of Survival is more than a concept—it’s a life-saving sequence that starts with you. Early recognition, calling for help, immediate CPR, and rapid defibrillation can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival.
At 3CPR, we train everyday people to take action with confidence. Because in an emergency, waiting isn’t an option—and knowing what to do can save a life.
❤️ Learn CPR
⚡ Act fast
🙌 Be the reason someone gets a second chance
Get trained. Be ready. Save a life.
Ron Eddy’s story: Paramedic’s survival highlights importance of CPR training Ron Eddie, a paramedic from Westfield, survived a cardiac arrest in March thanks to the immediate actions of his wife, Nancy Morrissey, and the swift response of emergency services.

🚨 CPR Myth Buster
Think an AED can’t be used on a child? Think again.
👉 MYTH: AEDs are only for adults
👉 FACT: AEDs can absolutely be used on children—even infants in many cases
When a child goes into sudden cardiac arrest, every second matters. An AED is designed to analyze heart rhythm and deliver a shock only if needed, making it safe and life-saving for all ages. Many AEDs even come with pediatric pads or settings to adjust the energy level.
❤️ The biggest risk isn’t using an AED on a child… it’s not using one at all.

Did you know that just over 70% of all out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in the home? According to the American Red Cross for the past 20 years, the survival rate for cardiac arrest has hovered around 🔟 percent for out-of-hospital incidences and 21 percent for in-hospital events, yet research shows that high-quality CPR has a significant impact on survival outcomes

CPR and AED Week isn’t just about saving lives—it’s about realizing you might be the most important person in the room.
No pressure… just a pair of hands and a little rhythm. 😉
Think of it this way: if you can keep a beat, you can save a life. (Yes, your questionable dance moves finally have a purpose.)
Learning CPR means you’re ready when it matters most—at home, at work, or out in the wild when life throws the unexpected your way.
This week, trade “I wouldn’t know what to do” for “I’ve got this.”
Check out our class offerings on our website and be a life saver.
