In the late 90's and 2000's, we saw the rise of wireless technology - pagers, cell phones, etc. As new technology, costs were high. But as networks evolved from analog to digital and then to the second generation (2G) networks, the costs started to come down.
"So what 2G really did for the industry was made it affordable for more types of applications."
In Part 2 of our 30+ Years of Innovation series, Chris Macheca, PassTime's President and COO reflects on how the shift to digital cellular networks helped change what was possible for PassTime.
