Brewery: Great Divide RINO
City: Denver, Colorado
Why would I come back: The Yeti Roars back in RiNo: Great Divide’s New Chapter
Even after the merger with Wilding, Great Divide Brewing Company remains a foundational pillar in the Denver craft beer heritage. I'm so happy to see their official return to the heart of the River North Art District (RiNo).
Founded in 1994, Great Divide helped pioneer Denver’s reputation as the "Napa Valley of Beer." They didn't just brew beer; they created icons. From the hop-forward Titan IPA to the formidable, legendary Yeti Imperial Stout, their "notorious" lineup became part of Denver lore.
The new location screems the outdoor centric Denver mantra. The space features a garage door that rolls up on sunny days, erasing the line between the bar and a cute patio. It creates a seamless, breezy indoor-outdoor vibe perfect for summer happy hour.
While the beer is the star, the kitchen brings a unique twist: breakfast all day. Go ahead and sleep in, you can grab a breakfast burrito with your brew when you get here. The rest of the food menu is a "greatest hits" collection—a slightly truncated version of their other locations, streamlined to offer high-quality pub fare that pairs perfectly with a fresh pint.
Happy Hour prices 14:00-17:00 and after 21:00 features half off aps and $5 core beers.
RiNo is evolving, and it feels awesome having a Titan of the industry back in the district. Grab a spot on the patio and welcome them home!

More fun pictures of tapping day

Photos from Touchdown Brewery's post 12/13/2025

S**g Wagon is officially on tap. Thanks for all my friends and family that joined me today to try it!

Hurry, small batch, will be gone soon.

S**g Wagon taps tomorrow!!!

From happy hour to glass, S**g Wagon started out as a brainstorm over craft beers and into a refreshing quaff at Strange Craft. We collaborated with our Homebrew friends at Touchdown Brewery to create this blend of floral and sweet hibiscus with a strong golden ale. Bright enough for a warm Colorado fall day, big enough to chase away the crisp fall nights.

Brewery: Old 121 Brewhouse
City: Lakewood, Colorado
Why would I come back: Old 121 Brewhouse has truly elevated its game with their new flagship location. It maintains the same community-first vibe they are known for while significantly boosting their capacity and offerings. It’s definitely worth a trip across town, but for locals, I'm sure the new taproom is going to be the new neighborhood favorite.

The new location features a much larger 15 BBL system, which means much more production and variety! They had sixteen beers (Fest Bier and New Zealand Hazy IPA are delicious) on tap plus non-alcoholic house-made sodas and other beverages (like their Booze Bubbles seltzers).

Brewery: True Anomaly Brewing Company
City: Houston Texas
Why would I come back:
Leaning on the in Houston's "Space City" foundation, True Anomaly Brewing Company was founded by former NASA colleagues, bringing a focused, experimental spirit to the craft beer world. Since opening in EaDo (East Downtown, which wasn't a thing when I frequened Houston), they've blasted off, winning several awards, including a couple at GABF and Brewery of the Year at the Texas Craft Brewers Cup multiple times.
Step into their modern, industrial taproom perfect for a quick pint, happy hour gathering, or a chill spot for a weekend quaff.
This location, in the heart of EaDo, pulses with the energy and diversity of Houston. It’s a dynamic, evolving neighborhood that mirrors True Anomaly's commitment to celebrating Houston's cultural diversity. It's more than a brewery; it's a launchpad for your fermented expedition in H-Town.

Brewery: Cellar West Tap Room Erie
City: Erie, Colorado
Why would I come back: Cellar West Artisan Ales, founder, Zach Nichols, began his adventure in a small, industrial space, quickly showing his talent with a GABF medal for his sophisticated, barrel-fermented beers, including a focus on Saison, but they have other styles on draft and in cans. Their expansion to Erie, CO, will allow more beer lovers to experience their tasty quaffs.
The Erie tap house, situated in a converted, hundred-year-old home, feels less like a tap room and more like a cozy cottage retreat. The atmosphere is immediately inviting—it's homey, laid-back, and the perfect place to linger over a glass with friends. This charming space provides the ideal backdrop to enjoy their expressive, non-aggressive wild ales, mixed-fermentation masterpieces, and balanced lagers. Cellar West's new location proves that world-class brewing can thrive in a very comfortable, neighborhood setting. Stop by and sit in the backyard, or watch a game in the cottage.

Brewery: Kükarō Brewing
City: Ft. Morgan, Colorado
Why would I come back: Kùkarō Brewing has established itself as the must-visit brewery destination in Fort Morgan, combining local craftsmanship with a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. In Micronesia, Kükarō means "to hangout, relax and be".
The brewery operates on a five-barrel system, pouring seven (plus a house made margarita) house-made brews and rounding out its 20 taps with a great selection of craft beers from Colorado and a couple special taps. There's a pint for every beer lover, with some tasty seasonal success stories like the "Winters Coming" dark ale, which is delicious!
The focus on excellence doesn't stop with the beer; it shines through in the kitchen. Walking in you're welcomed with aromas pf Kükaō wood-fired pizza, fired in a giant Italian oven. It's not all pizza, there are sandwiches and salads, but I'm a sucker for a good wood fired pie.
The pub is a friendly, inviting space built with reclaimed materials, the taproom reflects a deep dedication to community. Kükaō delivers a high-quality, genuine brewpub experience that’s worth the drive, on a beautiful, sunny Colorado day!

Brewery: Gunslinger Brewing Company
City: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Why would I come back: Gunslinger Brewing Company contributes a fresh dose of Wild West mojo to the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. The "saloon chic" taproom is both cool and comfortable, creating a welcoming spot for serious craft beer lovers and casual groups alike. The beers all have names steeped in western traditions, Stagecoach, Lever Action and Pale Rider, all fun and memorable.
Impressive variety on tap. The "Helles Coming With Me" is a standout lager—crisp, clean, and incredibly drinkable. For those craving something bolder, the "Redvolver" IPA hits the mark with a solid hop profile. Visiting in the early fall, the Model 1894 Marzen is delicious! They also offer a menu of hot sandwiches that pair perfectly with their brews. With its friendly atmosphere and quality craft beers, Gunslinger is a fantastic addition to the local brewery scene. It’s a great place to unwind, saddle up to the bar, and enjoy some excellent local flavor
