Hello Little Raven families! We still have a few items left in our Lost and Found. Check out the photos below and see if you see something that belongs to your Little Raven thunderbolt. Items will be donated after the last day of school.

We are becoming more aware of the effects cell phones have on the well-being of our children. Earlier this year, your 3rd-5th grade students participated in the Climate, Safety and Wellness Inventory, and the results highlight the impact cell phones are having. Negative numbers indicate a less favorable response and positive numbers are more favorable. See attached picture.

With this data in mind, consider joining a growing group of parents choosing to delay giving their children smart phones until the end of middle school. If you would like to connect with like-minded parents or learn more about alternative options to smart phones, reach out to Ashleigh Makala ([email protected]).

We share this information with the goal of expanding the conversation around cellphone and options. Please know that the intent is never to shame or judge anyone. Parenting is hard work and we all strive to make the best choices possible for our children. Children's access to cellphones is a personal choice that every family has to make. We understand families make these decisions for many reasons and situations, from family needs, schedules, safety, sports, location sharing, and much more. No two situations are the same and we are here to support all our families.

We are excited for Field Day on Friday! Here are few reminders:
Families are welcome and can go directly to the field to watch. Please wear safe running shoes and bring a water bottle. Students should wear their Little Raven T-Shirt grade level t-shirt:
Kindie - Light Blue/ 1st - Red /2nd - Orange/ 3rd - Light Blue /4th - Red /5th - Orange
If students are checked-out early this day they will be marked un-excused. Siblings will not be checked out to watch siblings.

Check out the information below on AIM Sports Camp an organization working with Littleton Public Schools, AIM Sports Camps helps create meaningful connections through sports. Our multi-sport camp at Littleton High School is staffed primarily by LHS coaches and varsity student-athletes, giving younger students the opportunity to connect with the high school community. We’re excited to be heading into our third summer hosting the program.

This summer’s camp will run June 15th–19th at Littleton High School and is open to grades K–8.
