WELCOME Elect Wendy Peer AR House Dist #50 to CandidateConversations.com!

Q:
What is your long-term vision for the community/city/state you hope to serve?

A:
My long-term vision for Arkansas House District 50 is to help move Arkansas from the bottom of national rankings and build a state where families can truly thrive. For far too long, Arkansas has ranked near the bottom in many key quality-of-life measures, including education, healthcare access, child hunger, mother and infant mortality rates, and economic opportunity.

Our families deserve better. I believe District 50 can help lead the way by investing in the people and institutions that strengthen families and communities. That means creating better-paying jobs, supporting small businesses, improving access to affordable healthcare, and ensuring every child, regardless of ZIP code or socioeconomic status, has access to a strong public education.

My vision is for Arkansas to become a state where young people want to stay, families can afford to succeed, and seniors can retire with dignity. I want our district to be known for safe neighborhoods, strong schools, transparent government, and real economic opportunity. By focusing on practical solutions instead of political division, we can build a stronger future for District 50 and create an Arkansas that no longer settles for being last, but strives to be a leader in opportunity, education, and quality of life.
