Partnering With A Purpose is an 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in October 2013 by Trina Johnson, LMSW. Johnson has a long history of being an advocate for low socio-economic and disadvantaged populations. Johnson began working in the mental health field, servicing children with severe behavioral health issues. While working with these families, she discovered the various ills experienced by families. Low socio-economic families often experience poor family support, limited financial resources and community disconnectedness. which heighten the risk for abuse, neglect and sometimes worse. Johnson is instrumental in ensuring the best interest of children and families and believes it's paramount to their well-being. Johnson initially founded Partnering With A Purpose with hopes to lessen the stress for children and families during the holiday season. This effort fulfilled Christmas wishes and basic needs for children. The needs of these families are addressed at this time; however, the needs of children and their families continue throughout the year, warranting the organization's continued service and support. Regrettably, the organization has witnessed firsthand the disparities and lack of resources causing children and their families to be broken systemically. Johnson has vowed to continue her efforts to gain strides in making a difference in the lives of others by exemplifying compassion and authenticity.

The month of December is always a busy time of the year. Our nonprofit is committed to serving even during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. We had the opportunity to serve families at the Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas on Christmas Eve. Just a recap of Decemberā¦. God we thank you for the desire to serve those in need. Our nonprofit was able to serve by providing 50 meals to families located at the Sydney McMath Library on Wednesday, December 20th. Here are a few photos of our volunteers showing JOY!!
