We're proud to share that Unity Village also received an Award of Merit in the Unbuilt Work Category at this year's Central States. 🤩

This master plan reimagines a historic landscape as a resilient environment grounded in healing and connection, positioning landscape architecture as the framework for land use, mobility, and public life.

Organized into experience-based districts, the plan creates a walkable environment that integrates housing, hospitality, and mixed-use development. Multimodal corridors and civic spaces prioritize social connection and access to nature, while strategies rooted in native restoration and stormwater management respond to the ecology of the Lower Missouri Watershed.

Unity Village demonstrates how landscape architecture can guide sustainable growth while fostering long-term resilience and community well-being.

A huge shout out to all of our incredible team members that contributed to this inspiring work!

One patch in the ongoing "Quilt of Parks" is now under construction in Bentonville; the Dave Peel Event Park!

This park creates a new space for gathering in the heart of downtown. Connecting the A Street Promenade parking deck via a new green space to an event space for community gatherings or music performances.

The underground detention strategies open up greenspace in front of the event stage to provide a open lawn for play, movement, and community connections.

As part of a growing network of "third places", the park supports easy interaction beyond home and work through creating opportunities for people to come together in meaningful ways.

Shout out to our close collaborators on this project:

We’re proud to share that the Lake Conway Urban Natural Area Master Plan received an Award of Merit in the Unbuilt Design Category at this year's ASLA Central States. 🙌🥳

The plan takes a landscape-led approach to restoring ecological function while expanding public access, addressing decades of urban-driven degradation through nature-based solutions like constructed wetlands and filtration islands.

Sixteen miles of trails and water routes connect surrounding neighborhoods to the lake, creating opportunities for movement, education, and interaction with the natural environment. The framework balances habitat preservation with inclusive recreation, reflecting a long-term commitment to resilient, community-centered design.

We are incredibly grateful to the City of Conway and the entire project team for their collaboration in shaping this vision.

A few moments from the Central States ASLA Awards!

Grateful to celebrate alongside members of our team whose work continues to shape thoughtful, resilient environments rooted in ecology and community. Recognition for projects like Unity Village and Lake Conway reflect a shared commitment to design that connects people to place and supports long-term impact.

We are beyond lucky to continue to create in this field.

Thank you to everyone who came out for Osage Park After Dark last Friday!

From the incredible dinner by Chef Case Dighero to conversations about the ecology, wildlife, and future of Osage Park, this evening always serves to be incredibly meaningful for those who attend.

The wetland system at Osage Park reflects EDG’s ongoing work in restoring and expanding natural infrastructure across Arkansas. Designed to capture, filter, and slowly release stormwater, the 12-acre system builds upon an existing wetland and strengthens its connection to Lake Bentonville. These strategies improve water quality, reduce downstream flooding, and support a thriving habitat.

One of the highlights of the evening was an appearance from the park’s resident beavers, a reminder of the active ecosystem that defines this space.

We are incredibly grateful for the support that this project continues to see from the Northwest Arkansas community. You are what makes our work possible, thank you!

The Little Rock Office's landscaping is finally complete!🌼

We've just added the finishing touch this week; a brand new sign.

Big thanks to DFI Architectural Signs Inc. for bringing it to life. Their team did such a flawless job and we cannot thank them enough for creating something that ties this landscape together so perfectly.

Stay tunned over the spring to see how everything blooms!

Last week, we hosted the Women in AEC Wine Wednesday at the Little Rock Office! 🌱

We created custom native seed mixes to plant in our own spaces and talked about how small, intentional choices can support local ecosystems right in our own backyards.

We are so grateful to share our new outdoor space with so many inspiring women shaping the future of the AEC industry.

If you're in the Little Rock area and want to get connected for future events with Women in AEC, let us know!
