BSA Troop 30

Leaders and parents take note. If you haven’t done the new Safeguarding Youth Training you have until May 31.

Update to SYT soon before the system crashes from everyone trying to do it last minute. You will have to fill out a new application if you lapse.

A couple of weeks back Troop 30 had the honor of holding a Board of Review and we are proud to celebrate our newest Eagle candidate Jack M. Congratulations, Jack!!

We were happy to go and help our friends at Lake Nixon. They have nice little system of trails out there.

Also should say, nice to meet you BSA Troop 30 in Watertown, MA!

Hey Cammack Village Neighborhood! We heard the Christmas parade the other night and hope it was fun. Heads up: on Saturday, December 13, between 9 and 12, scouts from Troop 30 will be collecting Scouting for Food bags delivered last week.

Looking at you too, Kingwood. We hope to collect a lot of food to deliver to local food pantries. Set your bags out on the porch or driveway.

Tonight Troop 30 holds its court of honor and recognizes the skills learned and knowledge gained by all of our scouts. Well done Troop 30! But we also need to recognize Worth P. who, last Thursday, earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Congratulations, Worth!

Cammack Village and Kingwood! Troop 30 is going to be in the neighborhood Saturday morning, December 6 dropping off bags for Scouting for Food. Fill your bag please and place it on your porch Saturday morning, December 13. Troop 30 will be back to pick up the full bag. The food will be delivered to neighborhood food pantries.

8-10am, Wear your class A and come eat a great breakfast to start your day!

Two weeks ago Worth P. completed his Eagle project at Conner Park. Worth and a crew from Troop 30 completed trail maintenance at the park, repairing and replacing signage, markers, and clearing brush. Worth was glad to be helping Little Rock Parks & Recreation with this project.
